COVID-19 Procedure Updates

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic, all of our team members will be following additional guidelines in accordance with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and the American Dental Association.

  • Scheduling
    • We are scheduling less appointments in a given day to recognize the need for additional time required for health screenings, both for patients, and for our staff, as well as PPE (personal protective equipment) changes throughout the day
    • We are not entering any communities with active COVID-19 cases
  • Patient Care
    • We are able to see patients either in a centralized location, or room-to-room as needed.  We are working with each individual community to follow their special guidelines
  • Health Screenings
    • Health screening questions will be added to our clinical notes
    • If a patient is unable to answer, we will consult with caregivers or nurse to have responses answered for them
    • Patients with temperatures registering at or above 99.6 will not be seen on day of treatment
  • Equipment
    • As always, even Pre C19, we are testing waterlines, cleaning autoclaves as well as conducting weekly spore testing
    • All equipment and PPE is being disinfected with Cavicide, meeting or exceeding, regulation standards
  • Receiving dental care is highly monitored and is a safe experience for all
